Wall crucifix K01.1
This imposing piece depicts the figure of Christ crucified, made entirely in the technique of electroforming – a method rarely used in three-dimensional iconography, but with roots in 19th-century liturgical goldsmithing. The metallic surface, silvered with a controlled patina, evokes the texture of religious pieces exhibited in heritage collections and reconstructs with expressive fidelity the bodily tension and baroque drama of the composition.
The silhouette is anchored on a massive cross of dark oak, selected for its dense texture and deep tones. The subtle transition from the matte surface of the wood to the metallic reflections of the body creates an almost museum-like contrast, which urges not only devotion but also formal contemplation.
An object that transcends its liturgical function, establishing itself as a collector's item, where craftsmanship meets the aesthetic austerity of a personal relic.
